Zürcher Theater Spektakel for families

There’s plenty for children and families to discover at Zürcher Theater Spektakel – from theatre, circus and dance to creative workshops, hands-on activities and playful worlds across the Landiwiese.

Hamburg’s Fundus Theater invites young audiences aged 7 and up to explore the world of emotions through play in «Grosse Gefühle». In Julian Vogel’s «Ceramic Circus», circus, rhythm and fragile ceramics come together in a poetic spectacle. There’s also a varied daily programme on the Zentral stages, alongside plenty of street performances to marvel at and join in.

At «Kinder Kultur Kalender» (KiKuKa), kids can simply drop by and spend their time crafting, painting, dancing and discovering something new. There’s even more room for creativity at our new DIY table, where kids can craft, paint and dance.

At Denise Wintsch’s «Puzzletisch», everyone is invited to puzzle together, linger and chat – a creative little break from the festival buzz. The mobile play space «Ein schöner Ort» invites children aged 2 to 10 to play, explore and create freely – with magic sand, magnets, little treasures and all kinds of surprising play worlds.

And at «Kids in Dance» with Calixto Neto, an energetic dance workshop brings young people aged 16 and up right into the heart of the festival.

And when it’s time for a little break, the Röhrlibar is a meeting place for the whole family – with space to play and perform, tasty snacks and, of course, the legendary 101 flavours of syrup. Add a ride on our carousel and plenty more surprises, and there’s always something new to discover!
