There is generally little fluctuation in the annual team, but especially during the festival period, there may be short-term opportunities in the areas of admission, set-up/dismantling or in individual technical trades.

ARTISTS
Main programme Solo artists and groups who would like to present their production at the Theater Spektakel can send their dossier and any audiovisual material they may have to contact@theaterspektakel.ch. There are no registration deadlines. If the artistic director is interested in the production, they will contact those responsible for the production.
Zentral stages Every year, the Zurich Theater Spektakel presents a curated programme of contemporary performing arts and street art on the Zentral stages on the Landiwiese. The Zentral consists of two outdoor stages. Applications for the Zentral stages in 2026 will be accepted until 16 March 2026. For performance conditions and the application form, see here. Street art in outdoor spaces Defined outdoor spaces without technical equipment are available for performances by street artists. Interested artists can apply for a daily performance in one of the 6-day blocks. Applications open on 1 March 2026 and close on 16 April 2026. Performance conditions and application forms will be published on 1 March. Contact: off@theaterspektakel.dont-want-spam.ch.
The number of artists and groups that can perform on the central stages and in the outdoor space is limited. Due to the high demand, we cannot send out rejections and will only contact successful applicants. We kindly ask you to refrain from repeated enquiries.
