«Ten Thousand Hours» – according to a popular theory – is the amount of time required to mas- ter something perfectly. Who would understand this better than circus artists?

The eight acrobats from the internationally successful circus collective Gravity & Other Myths bring to life stories of trial, repetition, perfection, failure, perseverance, and success, sharing them with the audience in a lighthearted piece full of honesty andhumor. They celebrate themselves and revel in the freedom, mutual trust, and the sense of achievement they have earned and worked so hard for.

Acrobatic excellence and lightness are re- peatedly interrupted by moments of risk, endur- ance, and recovery. Human pyramids are built with grace and incredible speed, only to collapse again in the blink of an eye. Accompanied by dy- namic live percussion, theacrobats challenge each other, flying, balancing, climbing, and carry- ing each other on their shoulders – as they rehearse and experiment with their moves before our eyes. Sometimes it works, and when it doesn’t, it’s even more exciting.

A truly entertaining family show featuring extraordinary acrobatic feats.
