«I got a song, it’s gonna make us millions» – that’s the title of the latest album by Sirens Of Lesbos, released in April this year. It’s not just a hopeful claim, but something entirely achievable for the project led by sisters Jasmina and Nabyla Serag. Their sound, oscillating between pop, R’n’B, and hip-hop, immediately grabs the ear.

The laid-back arrangements form the foundation for heartfelt and humorous lyrics that sing of modern life, its challenges, quirks, and the endless new possibilities it offers. At some point, the beat begins to stutter, and the journey takes a new direction, seeking answers to the question of what it means to be a sentient human being.

The Sirens Of Lesbos consistently bring others along their way: over the years, they have gathered a variety of collaborators, from Zurich club icon 36birds to legendary US bassist Bootsy Collins and the Nigerian Kabusa Oriental Choir. A diverse line-up that highlights the band’s openness and interest in genuine artistic expression.
