PERFORMING ON THE ZENTRAL STAGES 2025

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Zürcher Theater Spektakel presents contemporary forms of the performing arts and street art on the Zentral stages at the Landiwiese. In addition, performances by street artists at a designated outdoor performance location are possible. Applications for the Zentral stages are accepted until March 16, 2025. The number of artists and groups that can perform on the Zentral stages is limited.

The point of contact for artists during the festival is the information desk at the Zentral stages. Cloakrooms, lockers, and shower/WC facilities are available. Performance conditions and further information are provided below.

PERFORMING CONDITIONS

Performance Duration: Maximum 70 minutes
Setup and Teardown: Maximum 2 x 30 minutes
Technical Equipment: The Zentral stages are equipped with basic technical facilities. A technician will be provided.
Fee: Depending on the agreement, hat collection and performance fee
Suitable Genres: nouveau cirque, physical theatre, puppetry, dance, spoken word, performance, traditional street art and similar. Quiet concerts—also for children and families—are welcome as well.
Application: Artists who wish to perform in the curated program on the Zentral stages must apply by March 16, 2025. Only electronically submitted applications will be considered.
Performance Confirmations: The number of artists and groups that can perform on the Zentral stages is limited. Confirmations for performances will be sent by email no later than the end of April 2025.
Due to the high number of applications, we are unable to send rejection notices
Accommodation: Artists will be provided with a space for their camper van or simple accommodation in the youth hostel for the night after a confirmed performance.
Travel Costs: The Zürcher Theater Spektakel will cover travel expenses for performers on stage for arrival on the day of the first performance and for departure the day after the last performance. A flat rate will be negotiated for this.
Meals: Artists will receive vouchers for meals on the festival grounds for each performance day.
Promotion: The curated program will be published as part of the festival's communication both online and on-site.
Liability: The Zürcher Theater Spektakel assumes no liability for any harmful effects resulting from the performances of the artists. Discriminatory behavior and language will not be tolerated. Artists who do not adhere to the established rules and code of conduct may be asked to leave.
